Hon. Ramadhani Masudi Bungale is a seasoned leader who brings together the grassroots energy of a politician and the discipline of a career public administrator. Born and raised in Mbararani Village, Mlafyeni Sub-location, Mwaluphamba Location, he has remained deeply rooted in the community that shaped him, and today serves as Secretary General of the United Democratic Movement (UDM).
Since 2007, Hon. Bungale has served in a series of increasingly senior administrative roles. He began with the National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NGCDF) as Fund Account Manager and later Regional Coordinator, before rising to Chief Officer and, ultimately, County Executive Committee Member in the County Government of Kwale. Across close to two decades of service, his focus has remained on turning public resources into tangible results for the people of Kwale.
In 2022, Hon. Bungale stepped into elective politics as a candidate for the Matuga Parliamentary Seat. He now serves as Secretary General of the United Democratic Movement (UDM) Party of Kenya, where he helps shape the party's national agenda, strengthen its structures and connect its leadership to communities at the grassroots.
Before entering public administration, Hon. Bungale began his professional life as a teacher, serving for close to two years after graduation.
He holds a Master of Business Administration in Strategic Management and a Bachelor of Education, both from the University of Nairobi.
We are building a Kenya where every citizen has an equal chance to thrive — prosperity for all.
